Thanksgiving and Stuff

Taylor did a Thanksgiving program in his classroom and I forgot the camera.:( He is so shy, I felt bad for him! I knew he was shy but he looked like he was going to die. Poor kid, I know how he feels! He was an indian and they sang songs. Each of the kids said what they were thankful for and all the kids said things like their family and Taylor comes in and says, "I am thankful for my games!" His video games! Then we ate some food with them which wasn't the greatest with Autumn screaming at me. She had issues that day, so we didn't stay very long or I would have screamed!
Shauna came over for Thanksgiving. We looked at the sale ads, ate, and played games. We went shopping on Friday. I got everything I wanted to for Kinley. I still need to get a few things for Taylor. Taylor lost another tooth while I was gone. Both of his bottom teeth have come out but the new ones are already coming in very crooked, great!! When I got home from that we put up the Christmas tree.

The 24th

First of all my birthday is on the 24th but that doesn't mean I am 24! A bunch of people keep saying they thought I was 24. That is a dumb age! I am 26 now! Old enough to pay the full sweet adelines/TuneTown amount! (Only SA's will understand)

Next, I am in shock! Den actually got me something for my birthday! It's a miracle! He used to get me things all the time, but I suppose after being married so long he "forgets." When I went to see Twilight the other night the kids made me cards. (see below) Taylor's is the one with arms and legs! Den made me a bookmark!!! I know WEIRD! I am very surprised he did that and he wrote this nice poem, that he totally took from the internet, and at the bottom added a little bit of his own thing and left out some words of course, he isn't the best writer. He got me the game Scrabble, so I can teach him words and stay off the computer, yeah right! He also got me two books, by an author I used to really like, but I think in my old age I am really getting picky about what good writing is. I know I am not a good writer but I like reading good writing and that has been hard to find lately. Anyway, overall it was a good present. I really just can't believe that he actually thought about it instead of buying me a gift card!

Popcorn Ball VS. Tuna

Remember a few weeks ago when those cats ruined our A/C? Well the animal people just barely came to give me the cage. So my first advice is...

if you have an animal problem call animal control before you even know you have the problem so that the cage will be there when you actually need it!

My second advice is to use a popcorn ball, not tuna to catch a cat!

I had to put food in the cat trap. I was trying to think what I could put in it. I didn't want to put something good in it for a dumb cat so I saw this popcorn ball that we have had since Halloween sitting in the candy bowl. I threw that in the trap and the next day there was a cat in the trap!! Woohoo!
There was another cat to be caught though. I told Shauna what I did and she thinks it is so funny that I used a popcorn ball instead of tuna! I didn't even think of tuna! So for the next cat I put tuna in the trap and even left a little trail of it. It has been days and I still haven't caught that cat! So cats don't really like tuna or that cat is too smart to do what the last cat did. I think it just doesn't like tuna!

It was snowing a tiny bit today. Like you could barely see it but it was still snowing. It is FREEZING! 17 degrees last night so I didn't even try to get up and run this morning. Way too cold!
Kinley keeps calling me telling me to come look at her foot. She finally comes in here to show me

She put pretzels between her toes!

P.S. Will I go to heaven for sending the cat to die? There is a commandment that says not to kill, does that only mean people or are pets included in that? This isn't the first pet I have killed. I am not an animal person I guess, although I do like dogs when they aren't my own!

P.S.S I almost forgot!!! We are going to see TWILIGHT tonight! WOOHOO! I haven't been to a movie in FOREVER! I just bought the tickets and we get to go to the brand new theatre in Smyrna that just opened today, with rocking chair seats! I am going with Shauna, Pon, and Trishann (Autummn's mom).

Skating

Tanner's Birthday party was at the skate center. The kids had fun skating, especially Kinley. She wants to have her Birthday there now. Taylor was mostly on the floor! Kinley fell a few times but she looked so funny when she was skating!



Taylor was in a Bakugan tournament on Saturday, a weird toy/game like Pokemon. No one knew the rules but he won the first game. The second game that other kid was totally making up his own rules but we just let them play however they wanted to. He won more Bakugan cards! He was very excited!
It's Shauna's birthday, 29! I know that isn't old but it seems weird for Shauna to be that old! She told me she thought I was still 24!!! Rude! I am way past that age!
TWILIGHT on Friday!!! WOOHOO!!! I can't wait to see the movie!

ARGH!

Taylor has strep throat!

The nurse did his test and then the doc came in and she said, "The nurse were all saying what are we going to do if he has strep?" and the doc said, "He wont have strep." He does have strep! I can't believe it! That painful shot only worked for a year!! I thought I had a few more years to prepare for this.
The doc gave him his shot early and now he gets it every 28 days instead of every 30. He is also on oral antibiotics. The doc didn't seem happy. Especially when I told her that I think he has had it since Sunday. She was like this isn't good, this isn't good. There isn't anything we can do though. It will take a couple weeks to 6 months for the rheumatic fever to show up, if it is going to. Last time it was only a couple of weeks, so I am hoping it doesn't keep me in suspense for 6 months. He is going to the cardiologist in a month to see if there is any heart damage yet.
I will be watching him for the rash and the horrible stomach pain.

Lost A Tooth!

Taylor lost his first tooth!!! It is on the bottom and the next tooth is already coming in. The tooth is pushed back so hopefully it will come forward where it is suppose to be. He woke up early to see what the tooth fairy left, $3.00. His other teeth are loose so he will probably lose more soon.

I did some Christmas shopping today. I ended up getting Kinley a bike, a cheap bike! I was going to get her a scooter but she said she wanted a bike instead. She does only have a tricycle so I figured she is getting too big for that. Taylor is getting a bike because he learned how to ride without his training wheels and he needs a bigger one. I got a few other things that were on sale. I don't want to go shopping when Kinley is with me again though, that was hard!

Big Girl!

Autumn is finally big enough to be in a normal car seat!!!! Yippee!!! I don't have to carry her baby car seat in and out of the school now! Here she is!

Fall

I took a ton of pictures over the last couple of months so here are a bunch of them. There aren't very many of Taylor because he hates getting his picture taken. There are a ton of Kinley and a few of Autumn!
